Hey film world!!
Today we are going to be talking about filming and the equipment you can possibly use. As a super budget friendly option there is.
The Blackmagic cam app for you phone. It gives great quality footage and you can shoot movie quality material on your phone.
Another option is, if you’re in college, talk to people. Maybe a professor can help give you access to the equipment room so you can film your future projects.
There's always cheap ways to film your projects. If you’re able to spend a little bit of money you can always look online for rentals of professional gear.
For example you can rent a Sony FX6 for 150-300 a day but the key thing is that’s A DAY! So it does get costly. But that is better than buying a whole set up for $11k.
If you do have money to spend and you want to get something decent you can always get a Panasonic 4k camcorder for $3k which isn’t terrible as an option compared to most.
But I say if you are really dedicated. Film on anything. Start with the phone, get angles good and master your craft before you go on to the bigger and better equipment.
KEY THING: DONT BUY STUFF OFF TEMU OR APPS LIKE THAT!!!!
You will see “professional equipment” for sale on these types of sites! Do not fall for it, it’s all just a rip off.
But everyone thank you so much for reading and I hope I could help some of you along your filming journey!!
Good luck and I’ll talk to you next time
