PUBG Mobile: Ultimate Royale Rank System Explanation

What Is Ultimate Royale?

Ultimate Royale is a hardcore esports-style rank mode in PUBG Mobile. To play this mode, you must reach Crown tier or above in Classics (the normal ranked mode). Each Ultimate Royale game has 64 players and uses three maps: Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. Each team consists of four players and, you cannot choose the map; it is randomly selected by the game.

Ultimate Royale Tiers:

There are five Tiers in Ultimate Royale, and in each Tier, there are five stages before the next tier. For example, when you rank up in Vanguard, you go from Vanguard five to Vanguard one. Once you surpass Vanguard one you will be Exceed five. This is the list from lowest rank to highest rank:

  1. Vanguard

  2. Exceed

  3. Supreme

  4. Peerless

  5. Legend

It takes 500 points to reach the next tier from the previous rank. For example, if you are Vanguard five, you must gain 500 points to reach Exceed five.

How does the point system work?

The point system is based on your placement in the match and the number of kills you have. Each kill is one point. Here is how much you'll gain based on placement (approximately):

  • 1st place = 15 points

  • 2nd place = 12 points

  • 3rd place = 10 points

  • 4th place = 8 points

  • 5th place = 6 points

  • 6th place = 4 points

  • 7th place = 2 points

  • 8th place = 1 point

  • 9th place = 0 points

If you place 10th place or below, you are guaranteed to lose points unless you have rank protection, which you are given two of each time the day resets (7:00pm EST)

Leaderboards:

There are three different sections for Ultimate Royale leaderboards:

  1. Total Ranking

  2. K/D Ratio

  3. Wins

The Total Ranking is based on the number of points you have. K/D Ratio is based on your kill-to-death ratio. Wins is self-explanatory; it is based on the number of wins you have. The top 100-ranked players in each category will be displayed for all to see.
