This Week in Food- HalalEatsbyKhaula

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! This time, I’m sharing what I enjoyed eating this week.

1. Spice Wok

To start off, I visited Spice Wok, an Indo-Chinese restaurant located right on Route 130. I stopped by for their lunch special, which includes both a soup and an entrĂ©e, perfect if you want to try a bit of everything. I ordered the sweet corn soup to start, followed by chow mein and the Mongolian beef, making for a  satisfying meal.

2. Food Street

The next place I visited was Food Street, a Pakistani dhaba-style restaurant in downtown Princeton. I tried their Gappa Chaat—a crispy shell filled with a mix of chickpeas and spices, topped with spiced yogurt and tamarind and mint chutneys. I also had their chicken garlic mayo roll, which was a good mix of savory and spicy.

3. Burger RUNN

Another great find in downtown Princeton was BurgerRunn, a South Jersey–based spot. I tried two of their burgers.First, I tried their classic Single Runn burger, topped with cheese, fried onions, and their signature sauce. The second burger was actually the one that initially drew me to the restaurant. The Mac and Cheese Smash Burger was a double smash burger topped with mac and cheese bites and fried onions, all served between grilled cheese sandwich buns.
