Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! This is another edition of "This Week in Food" where I will be sharing where I went and what I enjoyed!
1. The Pho House
To start things off, I visited The Pho House in Edison, NJ, and it ended up being such a comforting experience. I ordered their Pho Beef Short Rib, and it was absolutely amazing from the very first bite. The meat was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone, and the broth was rich and full of deep flavor. Overall, it truly felt like comfort in a bowl and is definitely something I’d go back for.

2. Flamin Feathers
The next place I visited was Flamin Feathers, where I ordered the Flamin Waffle Sandwich. I was immediately intrigued when I saw it on the menu, as I’ve always wanted to try the chicken and waffles combination—and it did not disappoint. The pairing of the hot, crispy chicken with the sweet waffle was absolutely perfect and definitely something I’d recommend trying if you’re looking for a unique comfort food combo.

3. Smash Bunz
The final place of the week was Smash Bunz in Freehold, NJ. I went to their soft opening and everything was so delicious! What would bring me back again and again, though, is the Birria Melt burger, which comes with consommé. The meat was incredibly tender, and the consommé was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect kick of spice!
