Everything is worth capturing because memories slip if not caught.
Mundane moments and chaotic moments.
Seeing your memories in real time is what I like to call filming.
You may think when I say filming I mean an expensive cinematic camera.
I won’t lie those are cool but any filming device you have is more than enough.
You can’t wait to “get” that camera.
The time is always now.
Or your memories are going to slip away into the vault of your mind.
I believe that any device is enough to capture a memory.
Memoria Studios is not that bouje over her.
Because I find the best memories to have a little grit too it.
Clean 4k footage is great and all.
But when I think of a memory in my mind it tends to never be clean.
VHS cameras is my favorite way to capture memories.
Something about the your footage becoming physical and being on a tape.
The fact that you can pop in a tape like a dvd and watch whatever stupid things you and your friends did on that trip.
In the moment when recording it may not seem like a big deal.
But as more time passes the sweeter the footage will be.
The more “nostalgic” you will feel when you look at it.
That’s the way I see it at least.
So whip out that phone, that digi cam, that sh-tty camera and record!
We don’t second guess over here.
I make memories.
