Gojo Vs Shigaraki (Manga spoilers for both series ahead)

In this post I will give reasons, arguments, and facts as to who wins this battle. We will take both combatants at their prime, base forms.

Starting with The Strongest Sorcerer of Today: Satoru Gojo

Part 1/5: Infinity

I shall be going over his feats in depth while using my own calculations:

To start we must go over what his cursed technique is as there's a lot of misconceptions. Gojo is NOT dividing space infinitely. What he is doing is using a concept called 'universal expansion'. This is caused by dark matter's gravitational influence on the surrounding environment, pushing all things away and fueling the expansion of our universe. As for why this slows things down instead of pushing things away is simple: the space that is being expanded is sent back to the start of the infinity aspect of the limitless technique. Think of how a fountain reuses the same water over and over again.

The space returning to where it was causes a "glitch" of sorts in the universe. It tricks the matter into thinking it hasn't moved. Thus, dividing its speed in two to. Due to this you will need to overcome the speed at which the universe expands. "How fast does the universe expand?" I hear you ask. Space (locally) expands at the speed of light. However, due to how infinity works and how it slows things down you need to be many times faster than light (FTL) to bypass it. Or you can brute force your way through and somehow grab the space itself to hurt the Gojo inside.

With that out of the way lets go into the raw physicals of the strongest:

Part 2/5: Gojo Quake

In chapter 221 of JJK, Gojo is released from the prison realm using Angel's cursed technique (Jacob's Ladder). Aftermath of which is shown below

Gojo creates this earthquake with country destroying levels of force. I personally calculated this feat to be around country+ in terms of pure AP (Attack Potency). This gives us a baseline of Gojo's strength

Part 3/5: Speed

The limitless technique grants Gojo the ability to teleport. As for actual movement speed we need to look at his opponent and roughly physical equal: Sukuna. Sukuna was able to dodge EM waves from Kashimo. EM waves are able to travel SLIGHTLY slower than the speed of light (the difference being: (Speed of Light = 100% SoL and EM wave's speed in air = 99.97% SoL). This easily gets Sukuna to FTL.
Gojo was able to blitz Sukuna who is much, much stronger here therefore making Gojo FTL

Part 4/5: Hax/Abilities

As explained above Gojo has infinity which nullifies all physical attacks directed at him. He also has blue (the ability to attracted matter), red (the ability to repulse matter) purple (the ability to smash together both red and blue to create virtual, NOT imaginary, mass), 6 eyes (near perfect cursed energy saving. Think the longes battery you've ever seen on battery savor mode), Unlimited Void (domain expansion allowing cerebral overload. I.e. killing the victim/keeping them frozen), and black flash (2.5x AP multiplier).

Blue is able to amp his punches along with black flash to create a truly deadly punch as shown below.
Red: is great for making space.
Hollow Purple: excels at damage over a wide area.
Black Flash: is hard to hit but allows for an alright spike in damage output. Along with restoring CEO (cursed energy output).

Part 5/5: Intelligence

Gojo has spent about his entire life training in both his body and cursed technique to become the Gojo clan's weapon. This grants him immense battle intelligence

Now onto Shigaraki:

Part 1: Raw Physicals

Shiggy, post surgery, has physicals on part with if not surpassing All Might. All Might while 5x weaker is capable of changing the weather with a single punch

Shiggy not only equates this but surpasses it while completed. This will get us into the first part of Shigaraki's scale

Shigaraki with another simple jump completely tilts the U.A Flying Coffin
These are both low, low-level feats so I'll talk about his better showings

He is physically equal to Deku shown multiple times throughout the manga and anime

Deku is capable of shattering 20 kilometer wide ship in two with a single kick. I was able to calc this to large planetary+. This was also a massively weaker Deku than the one that fought Shiggy. So bare minimum he is large planet level

Part 2: Speed

Star and Stripes was an American Hero in the MHA universe. Her quirk was New Order. She is able to impose a rule on anything she names and touches. Such as being able to hold lasers. Lasers are typically made of photons. Which move at the same speed as the EM waves do while in air. Star blatantly catches said lasers while activating her quirk at the same time (couldn't find the panel)

Shigaraki before this, is able to catch said lasers, absorb, then reflect them

This grants Star and Shiggy FTL speeds. However, it doesn't end here.
Shiggy, after some time, perception blitzes Star. Meaning he went so fast she couldn't see him. Meaning he went faster than someone who can catch light. This warrants FTL+ speed

Part 3/3: All For One (AFO)

AFO. The Demon Lord's power: the ability to steal quirks. Many quirks have been seized by AFO. One of which turns the tide in this battle. This quirk doesn't have a name but the functions are clear: at the twist of a hand the person being looked at will be twisted. You may be wondering how this can possibly bypass infinity.

Here is a video showing what the quirk is capable of. Notice how space itself is curving around the high-end Nomu's hand. This is objective proof of space manipulation.

AFO also has hundreds if not thousands of possible quirks. Things from expulsion of all of one's blood, to having the ability to see the location and weaknesses of a person, to being able to combine the many quirks into something called Omni Factor Unleash. There is no battle Shigaraki isn't prepared for.

Final Verdict/Point Tally:

Shigaraki takes the edge in all strength categories, durability, and abilities/hax

Gojo takes the edge in BiQ, IQ, and skill

The victor is clear. Tomura wins through his many quirks and the insane physical stats gap. No-Low difficulty. Tomura Shigaraki wins
