              Hey everyone welcome back!

Hope you all enjoyed last week’s blog about Sayen  Gardens. If you don’t know me, my name is Mar and I’m a photographer. I’m just posting my journey on some of the places I’ve gone to to get my photography started and I do feel like it has helped me grow as a  person and I wanted to share my journey with everyone!

So if you’re unfamiliar, you can go back to my other two blogs that were posted on Sundays. Those are my posting days where I went through Grounds For Sculpture, Sayen  Gardens, and this week will be about Assunpink Park.

Assunpink lake park is a go to fishing spot or kayaking spot from what I can tell from going there a few times. It is located in Roosevelt, New Jersey. You do have to take some back roads to get there and the GPS will take you off route  just a tad, but there is signs all around the back roads that will tell you where  the lake is . The  lake is actually connected to two other lakes together and but they’re both classified as two separate parks even though they’re all together as one I guess it depends on the entrance that you go from (like the different sides). Assunpink lake  is just a lake, many might not find anything special about it but it’s a beautiful place to just sit and enjoy the view. Many individuals may go there to kayak, fish, many do also hunt( not at the lake but around that area). So during this time like winter. They advise you to go only during the day for your safety. Around Assunpink there is a trails and dirt roads. Many individuals also like to meet up and just hang out. Grab some food and just  hang out by the dock. A lot of car guys like to go there to take photos of their cars and a lot of them do car meets over there as well because it’s  a secluded area. I also did as well take photos of cars there. It’s very quiet area  and there won’t be other cars in your way depending on when you go and you’re able to drive right up to get the best shot.

Assunpink is the perfect spot for Sunsets& Sunrises!
