AEW Dynamite Blood and Guts Match Results!

Hey everyone, Ravengelion here! I'm a current wrestling fan wanting to write reviews for my favorite wrestling shows, and for the time being, I will be covering Dynamite matches. I will be doing this every week, hoping to expand into other places like NJPW and CMLL! Come back weekly every Wednesday Night to see match results almost immediately after the episode is done!

Tonight's edition of AEW Dynamite is a blood and guts special episode! The match order goes as follows:

Women's Blood and Guts Match

Hangman Adam Page vs Powerhouse Hobbs (Falls Count Anywhere)

Men's Blood and Guts Match

Women's Blood and Guts: Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, Thekla, Skye Blue, Julia Hart, and Mercedes Mone vs Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter

The night opened up with the first-ever Women's Blood and Guts match, as it was a 6-6 team war. Skye Blue started off for her team, while Willow Nightingale started off for her side. This match was an absolute massacre, with so many of the women taking such insane bumps. Skye Blue would start bleeding very early on in the match, but she made it known that it was her type of match. Since the heels had the advantage, the heels would have the majority for most of the match. Everyone eventually entered the match, and there was carnage. There would be a mini appearance from Mini Mone, aka Harley Cameron's puppet! It wasn't until Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir had Mina Shirakawa trapped and beaten down to a pulp while her partner, Toni Storm, was forced to watch as she was pinned down by the rest of the opposing team. Due to this, Toni surrendered, and the heels won the match! An amazing women's blood and guts match, I would most definitely recommend watching this on your own free time, it is worth the almost hour that it took. 

Hangman Adam Page vs Powerhouse Hobbs (Falls Count Anywhere)

This match was all over the place, literally. Hobbs and Page did not hold back anything and went around the whole arena. Notable spots include Hobbs breaking Page's back on the ring, the announce table, and the steel steps.  Afterwards, Page would counter Hobbs' attempt to put him through the announcer's table, and sent him flying to the floor, where he would painfully land on his tailbone. But that wasn't it, as they would go into the crowd to brawl until eventually Page puts Hobb's through a table and it explodes! Hangman would win the match and had an after-match confrontation with Samoa Joe, making their world title match at Full Gear a steel cage match!

Men's Blood and Guts Match: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Daniel Garcia vs Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Darby Allin.

It's time for the main event, the men's blood and guts match! Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin start things off for their respective teams. Everyone comes in one by one, but when Mark Briscoe is supposed to enter, we find out he was attacked backstage and is unable to compete, so in his place, Roderick Strong fills in to go earlier in the match. A lot of insane spots in the match, and after a while, Jon Moxley comes out, who stabs everyone not on his team with a fork. The interval in which Briscoe is supposed to enter reveals that he is not medically cleared to compete, which, for the moment, makes it a 4v5. Eventually, we see Briscoe come out to help his team despite being hurt! Lots of carnage, as Gabe Kidd of NJPW makes a shocking appearance and helps Moxley's team! He tases Darby Allin and leads him to the stage, where eventually PAC lifts him up while Kidd lights up two tables on fire, and PAC throws Darby Allin through them. All while this is happening, Cassidy gets his hands stapled into his pockets and is unable to move his hands. After a lot of brutal beatings from Moxley's team, Cassidy frees his hands and beats up everyone! Kyle O'Reilly eventually gets his hands on Moxley and puts him in an ankle lock for a tap-out victory! This time, the babyfaces win the match in the main event of the show!
